"DENKA Glass Fiber Reinforced ABS", one of the product lines of Denka Styrene Business, is an ABS resin reinforced by glass fibers in various grades.
Characteristics
DENKA’s Glass Fiber Reinforced ABS (in particular, a heat-resistant type) has an excellent heat resistant property, which can be used as a substitute of engineering plastics as well as in various other fields. In general, this type of ABS resin has one disadvantage of having a poor surface finish; however, DENKA has developed special technique to improve its surface texture by optimizing the fiber length distribution of a base resin and glass fibers.
